I've been neglecting my little blog because school was about to kick my butt and i had to get on top of everything. I'm back now!

i love this list of 50 alternative date ideas, sent to me by my sis-in-law Shannon, found on the {new to me} blog, iCiNG. i don't know about you and yours but me and the hubs could use a couple new ideas. here are a few of my faves from the list:
* make a fort - check out this sweet fort that Naomi and her husband did here
* do something neither of you have ever done before, together
* playground date - slides and swings, enough said
* hunt for an old photobooth and take as many photo strips as you can, props are extra points - see Jon and Sherry's take on photobooths here
* make cupcakes together

DIY: CELEBRATE BANNER
I love this simple yet fun celebrate banner found at Once Wed. An easy DIY, especially for those inpromptu celebrations. A great way to use left over scrapbook paper or find papers that fit your theme or colors. I think i'd put mine up with bakers twine for a festive look. Find instructions here.
