i wanna go...

to Paris that is!

I don't normally do posts like these but Jordan at Oh Happy Day! is giving away a trip to Paris. I kind of want to go. Ok...I really want to go! My chances are slim but a girl can dream right?

Do tell : If you've never been to Paris, what is the number one place you want to visit/thing you want to do. If you have been to Paris (lucky duck) what was your most favorite thing you did or see?

{Awesome tilt-shift photo of the Eiffel Tower via Smashing Magazine. You should take a peek at the other 49 tilt-shift images they are showing!}

  1. Have been a few times and it is one place I feel everyone should go during their lifetime. It really is THAT magical. For me just walking the streets, through the parks taking in the splendor of the city is the ultimate. It is just soooo beautiful. We also drove north to south last spring and that was amazingly great, stopping at all these quaint little villages and taking in the sights. (my then 13 year old son was not so amused) and did not get his mother "shrieking with excitment" over a few decaying buildings painted french blue or "get" my joy watching a man on his bike sporting his beret picking up several loaves of fresh baguettes at the tiny local bakery. Those are the little things I love about Paris! SO hope you get to go soon....

  3. Paris is beautiful! So romantic, so much history. The whole time I was thinking "I can't believe I am really here, I can't believe I am really seeing this"! There are so many amazing things to go do and see. But my favorite thing was to get a croissant for a local bakery and sit under the Eiffel Tower :) Hope you get to go!

  6. Well, I am from Europe, so I guess that's cheating because it's pretty easy for me to see Paris.

    For me Paris is just about the total experience. Sure, I could list a thousand things that make Paris individually unique but actually, it's the package deal of experiencing Paris. It's the sidewalk cafés, the fancy restaurants, the poised elegance of the French, the majestic squares, fountains and palaces... and just the normalcy of it being a big city at full force.

    In any case, I hope you win the Give Away! Good luck!

    Blessings,
    This Good Life

    P.S. I love your series on 3's! So much fun!
