 this chambray roll cuff shirt from one of my favorite clothiers, Shade.

I think I'm going to take the rest of the week off if you don't mind. The sickies that started with Olivia last week has now managed to infect my whole little family, especially poor baby Landon who is in need of lots of attention and love... so that's where I'll be. Ooh I can't tell you how excited I am to be threeish weeks away from not wearing maternity clothes. That and fall weather have me itching to pull out those jeans and sweaters I haven't worn for months and pairing them with some cute boots.

Speaking of boots...I have been on the hunt for the perfect boot for honestly years now but I'm thinking I might've found a pair of flat boots I could live with. I've seen these Steve Madden boots around the web and think they might be worth a try.

I am in desparate need of post-baby clothes and although I won't be able to wear them for a couple more months, I would like to add these pieces from Shade to my closet (that dress in particular).

On the subject of Shade clothing, I was sad to hear that they will be closing soon. I've loved my clothes from them. If you see anything you like, better get while the gettings good i suppose.

i want a coat rack. is it too Grandma-ish? i don't know... my parents had one while i was growing up and i loved it. it was tall and brassy and pretty cool. they don't have it anymore, otherwise i'd snatch it up for myself. urban outfitters has one but i want a gold one so i've been searching on craigslist. no luck yet though...
