a little bit country

i mentioned my parent's upcoming anniversary party a while back and since then i've been searching for  inspiration for the party. i'd like to do a simple and sweet country inspired party and i think these florals in mason jars fit the bill.

have any of you thrown (or been to) an anniversary party before? do you have any ideas you'd care to share? i'm all ears!

  1. LOVE the mason jars! I've been collecting some and hope to do the same thing at our house!

  2. I love using mason jars - they're my go-to for parties. Hope you share more of your ideas! We might be throwing one for our parents' 40th this year, too.

  3. I've never been to one, but I love that idea! I also really like tealights in mason jars, the ones people use for jam... I think they're so charming!

  4. We actually used mason jars for arrangements at our outdoor wedding reception, but a neat touch was to decoupage photocopies of pictures from our parents, grandparents, and even great grandparents marriages. We also included facts about each of us and quotes about lovre and marriage so our family and friends from the opposite side could get to know us. It turned out beautifully in groups of 3-4 jars of varying sizes for each center.
