my parents golden anniversary is coming up this year and my sister's and I are planning a party to honor of them. one of the ideas that i loved while browsing through the second issue of Nonpareil was the wishing tree. such a sweet idea that allows guests to write their well wishes for the couple.

I recently went to a wedding that had one. All I thought all night was how much more fun it was than a guest book; and what great keepsakes the wishes are.

That's really cool! I just had the thought that after the event's over and they'd like to have the thoughts in a book, you could do an album with pretty pockets...? Anyway, random idea. Congrats to your parents--that's really neat.

Wow, that's stunning! I love the album idea too. I want to make one of these for my office too- I'd write bits of encouraging words on them..or maybe even goals?
