in front of Saint Louis Cathedral on Jackson Square
this past week my family and I hit the road and set off through uncharted territory for us, the south! We visited Louisianna, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida where we saw lots and had lots of fun.
i just wanted to say thanks to those of you who commented about New Orleans a while back. we stayed downtown on Canal street where we were able to easily walk around the french quarter. we, of course, had to make the requisite stop at cafe du monde for some beignets which are pretty good. we also drove around the garden district which was full of gorgeous old homes and was one of my favorite parts of NOLA.
now we are trying to figure out where our next trip will be. i'm game for Europe. :) interestingly, my husband and I were talking and since we've been married I have visited all but 15 states, mainly the northeast. that's what happens when you marry a traveler and adventurer. i love it!

fun! I love traveling, I wish we could do it more often!
Travel is so much fun! And I am with you on wanting to visit Europe.
Sounds like fun--I've always wanted to visit NOLA. You look cute, by the way! If you go to Europe, you should definitely blog about it.
Thanks Ashley! :)
